Social service was introduced the General’s body decision with the consent of the Consultors in 1983. Some of the major establishments under this Ann’s Social Service Society at Guntur,Ann’s Women’s Intensive Training Institute at Chowdavaram (1993) , Ann’s Seva Sadan at Medchal (1994), Ann’s Seva Sadan at Gopavaram(1995) to take care of physically and mentally handicapped children, and Anne’s Social Service Centre at Vinukonda(1996)

Also, for the empowerment and ensuring , the society has adopted 300 villages grouped under 11 different areas in Telangana & Andhra Pradesh social service centres established namely in Chowdavaram, Narasaraopet, Vinukonda,Kodad, Piduguralla Medchal, Jadcherla, Nandyal , Phirangipuram , Guntur and Pedakurapadu.

HIV/AIDS and Community Care Centres at Kodad and Karimnagar are placed at the service of the most affected and infected people around the districts in 2006.

The management is also actively involved in running of orphanages for children, old age homes to care for the elderly and rehabilitation centres for mentally and physically handicapped.

SASSA – Anne’s Social Service Society also takes up many other initiatives for providing all kinds of relief to affected sections of community. Sisters are involved in Micro Finance programmes for rural women through Mahila Mandals, provide training to women on entrepreneurial skills and also provide relief funds. Outreach programmes like surveys, screening camps, medical camps, awareness programs on mental retardation as well as child , blood donation camps and HIV awareness rallies are also regularly organised.

The social service apostolate also works towards raising environmental consciousness and protecting the environment through pollution awareness programs and tree plantations.
